Music & Dance classes: It’s musical playtime for kids! Develop self-expression,
creativity and learning skills through Russian songs, traditional games,
movements & use of folk instruments. Parents/caregivers participate in class.
No special costume required for the class.
Art & Craft: Make wonderful, simple craft projects with a light touch of Russian culture. Art projects tied to theme activities such as folk puppet shows seen in studio or seasonal events. Parents/caregivers participate in class.

Theater performance class: For kids who are passionate about acting, singing and dancing. Focusing on full productions and theatrical training for young actors. Role games developing self – confidence and creativity. Performance on stage at the end of 10 week semester. Parents to provide simple costume for a folk style play (bright color skirt and white top for a girl or sleeveless dress and bright single color top and black pants for a boy).
Chess Beginners: Never early to begin explore Classic Chess! Membership program. Parents encourage to practice at home with kids.

Children’s Yoga: It is fun! Yoga can help kids to develop concentration, patience, creativity and stability. Just like their parents, kids today are turning to Yoga to help them relax.

For the 2010-2011 school year we are expending our programs for children of all ages and backgrounds with the greater team of teachers and volunteers.

FyreBird Studio is offering the following classes for the 2010-2011 school year at new classrooms at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (18865 SW Johnson St, Beaverton, OR 97006) morning and afternoon hours every Saturday.

All instructors teach in both Russian and English.

Russian Language: Second language study benefits culture awareness and community involvement. Offer a creative way to study language trough interactive activities, traditional songs and performances on stage.

Voice Private Lessons age: 13-18
Refine your sound with one-on-one training in proper technique. Get expert advice on breath control, diction and musical interpretation. Performance on stage available around New Year.
